There is plenty of transportation in the city of Las Vegas. You don’t have to worry about getting around. The city of Las Vegas has the Las Vegas Monorail, the CAT bus, a trolley service, taxis, two small trams, and free shuttles from many of the major hotels.

The monorail in the city of Las Vegas is not on the strip, which makes it convenient for traffic. It runs along the east side of the strip and it starts at Tropicana Avenue and runs to Sahara Road. If you have been shopping all day long and ended up on one side of the strip but need to get back to the other with your arms full of bags, this is a great way to get back to your hotel.

The city of Las Vegas also has a bus service called CAT Bus or The Deuce. This is a double decker bus and it stops at most of the major resorts. It also heads downtown and gives you the Fremont Street Experience.

There is a trolley service that travels up and down the strip for the tourists of the city of Las Vegas. The trolley service stops at some of the hotels along the strip but not all of them. No matter how far you travel, the fare will be $2 for a one-way ride, even if you only go a block. The trolleys arrive every 15 minutes at the selected locations. Ask your concierge for more information or check it out at one of the trolley stops.

There are two small trams that run along the Las Vegas strip also. One of the trams runs for the Mirage and Treasure Island, and the other tram runs on the opposite side of the strip and serves Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, and the Luxor.

In addition to the trams, trolleys, buses, and the monorail, people can take taxi rides for their convenient and there are shuttles offered by all of the major hotels that can take you to and from your hotel to the airport when it is time to go home.

The city of Las Vegas has provided plenty of transportation making it convenient for tourists when they come and visit.
